Have you ever heard Simmons mentioned in that group I just named? He's a step below them in WAR and amongst most talent evaluators. I mean come on.

I played shortstop in high school and college, yes.



I love Andrelton. I'm super happy for the success he is having. And, if Newcomb doesn't figure out how to throw strikes then we will look back on that trade as a big fail. But he's not a once in a generation all around shortstop. That's craziness.
