Game Predictions

Brad Crawford over at 247 gave his individual game predictions for this year. Some credence given to him at the beginning of the article was that 1) he has seen every Carolina game since 1998 and 2) he has picked our season record within 1 game 5 of the last 6 years. He picked us to win 6 games last year when the national pundits had us at 2.5 I believe. His results are:
Wins
NC State
Kentucky
La Tech
Arkansas
Vanderbilt
Florida
Wofford
Losses
Tennessee
Georgia
Clemson
Winning one of these two but not both
Mizzou
Texas A&M
He technically picked Mizzou as the loss and A&M as the win but within the breakdown of the games said that it would be an either or thing.
Overall Record 8-4 (5-3)

I think the mindset there is that it is a road game. Every win he projected minus NC State and the toss up between Mizzou and aTm were all home games.

Well obviously I think, and hope, that Arkansas wins against you this year.
But I do think you beat a UT team that is losing momentum. If you beat A&M and Missouri (Though I do think Missouri will be better this season) then I believe that USC could be in the SEC championship hunt down to the wire.
I give the nod to Georgia... but with Chaney as their OC they will blow a couple of games.

This will be the 2nd year in a row that Tennessee has a bye week before playing USC, so they get two weeks to prepare. It didn't do them any good last season though, although they had come off of a 4-game run that included Florida, @UGA, @ Texas A&M, and Alabama.
They went 2-2 in that run, losing the last 2 games, before facing us. Maybe they needed two bye weeks in a row after the lashing they got at Alabama.
This coming season, they will host UGA before the bye, and then go to Bama after our game. Another tough stretch with us in the middle. But playing in Knoxville is tougher than playing them at home, which was a big boost to our team last season. It will be likewise for the Vols this season....

Replace Florida with Tenn and I pretty much agree. In terms of hypotheticals I would be ok with a nc state loss if in turn they beat clemson. I would also not complain if we beat both Mizzou and A&M.
