Why not kick them out? Just what exactly do they bring to the table? TV markets? The whole damn state barely has a million people and they still have State to watch. Great sports? They haven't won a championship in football since integration happened and in everything else they are second tier at best. Academics? Nobody is mistaking them for Vanderbilt unless you are an aspiring author.

I'm not saying they will be kicked out either, but what I am saying is if the conference or someone in power had the desire to do so, Ole Miss has given them plenty of ammo and not much reason to save them. I think the biggest hurdle would be finding a replacement. If OU expressed interest in coming, I'd be REAL uneasy as a Rebel fan about my SEC membership.

What if that is because there has been way more effort to keep it quiet.

What if this is turning into a John Grisham type book not just a Steve Rosebowl book.

What if this is how the "network" got funding that the IRS may not know about. They could choose a few games a year to have several people place 10k on the games. Ten people do this on 3 games a year and you can fund the "network" off the books.(since we are helping John with his next best seller assume they are placing bets with a mob bookie that don't report anything to the IRS)

If you were involved in these you would do your best to keep it hidden. Jail time, lifetime of looking over your shoulder for Capone's hit men.

Again just trying to give John some fresh info about a great book about his hometown not that any of this is true?
