- The synth you remember from the 80's in Fletch and Horsby et al wasn't a shitty digital casio computer chip with batteries falling out the back and a salsa accompaniment. They were analog instruments that used high surges of electricity pumping through capacitors to create unique, deep, warm, thick sounds that could only be controlled in the hands of a true artist. You didn't read my post then.
The Fletch/AxleF sound in the Hornsby song occurs exactly once in the entire song. For 1.5 seconds. It happens strategically at the beginning. And it is out of place as frick. By design.
