On Finebaum just now, says some folks picking UGA, but Tony says Gators stronger in the trenches, and thinks uga may not have manpower to protect Eason. Said Sumlin may be on hot seat more than Jones or Bielema, says TAMU has spent recently $450 MILLION on athletics and what does it have to show after Johnny left.

If you don't know who Barnhart is then I find it very unlikely that you actually keep up with SEC football outside of this forum.

I think you may be thinking of your buddy Brando

I see what he's saying here, but that's kind of a red herring. They spent $450m on athletics and now lead the nation in athletic revenue. With that said, I think even A&M fans would tell you they have underachieved since Johnny football left

Way to go out on a limb. I'd guess he also probably picked the Patriots to win the Super Bowl and Warriors to be NBA champs.

Tony Barnhart is an UGA grad. If he picks UF over UGA in tiddly winks then folks had better pay attention to the UF tiddly winks team.

Well that's cool but if you can't score, you can't win...

All they needed was 10 points to beat LSU last year.

Yeah, 7 defensive draft picks ago.
I'm all for the school of thought that winning the trenches wins you games but usually winning the trenches alone won't get the job done.

I just don't see UF as having particularly strong personnel in the trenches.

I don't either but unless several true freshmen show up for Georgia they are gonna win the east again.

We need them on the OL. Don't think any freshmen will play much at all in the defensive front 7.

He's actually a really nice guy in person.
Our families went to the same church in Dunwoody when I was younger and I still have an autographed copy of his Southern Fried Football book somewhere. /csb

You sure about that? Also, a weak OL is bad business in our conference when nearly every team have freaking monsters on the DL.

Even more reason to jump on the Vols bandwagon.

I expect the Gators to finish first in number of jorts purchased in 2017 for the east too
