How did the NCAA let Cam and Auburn get away with it?
We're not poor like LSU.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. Auburn made the NCAA its bitch and melted this forum Chernobyl style in the process.

Not only the NCAA but the SEC also,
Slive said because the player had no knowledge of the transaction of money, then it was ok for Cam to continue to play.
So, as long as you give the money to parents and don't tell the player, it's ok?
Why the NCAA never got involved was beyond anyone's comprehension.
I guess it was just Slive giving Auburn a fighting chance, knowing that Saban was going to beat them like a drum every other year.
Just goes to show, there are those that are allowed to cheat and those who aren't.

Certainly beyond your comprehension.

Another Cam Newton thread, 7 years later, how original. Since you're eager to discuss it let's talk about Cam's 217 yard rushing performance against LSU.

I never saw any evidence that AU cheated with Newton. Now how the hell they were able to keep him eligible? That was shady as frick considering the SEC (you know, the league run by Bammers) ignored their own rules to do it.

448 yards rushing as a team, made that arse quit.
