I watched the 30/30 on him yesterday. Not a fan of this man. On the 5th down game he said if Missouri had played better than them that game he would have thought about telling the NCAA to reverse the win. All he bitched about was how bad the field was. Which was crappy. But OU came in to Columbia that year and put 55 on the scoreboard on the same field. Did not stop them at all !!!
And Charles Johnson still has not scored !!!! Gabe D from PowerMizzou is correct !!!

I remember watching the game on ESPN Classic years ago. First time I had ever seen the full game. The last drive was cringe worthy. Those refs from that game should have never been allowed to step foot into a field ever again. How many games did the Big 8 suspend them for?

But McCartney is such strong Christian!
and J. C. Louderback and crew were suspended for one week
And McCartney is a true son!
trifecta

Please do not start the McCartney-Christian thing.
All the recruiting shenanigans Barnett felt the heat for started strong under McCartney. Money from agents was flowing freely to his players. And that's just what has come out.
All the while he was selling the "strong Christian example" image to young athletes and whoever else he could get to listen.

He was the Hugh Freeze/Urban Meyer of his day. Threw the names of Jesus and God around left and right but would not bat an eye at recruiting a serial killer if it meant one more win on his schedule.
I have read the bible a few times and as far as I know there is no "Thou shalt be a corrupt douchebag" in there.
