Capital One Cup Standings (6-1-17)

The current Capital One Cup scoring structure:

Group A men's sports include cross country, skiing, rifle, water polo, indoor track & field, outdoor track & field, wrestling, fencing, swimming & diving, ice hockey, gymnastics, volleyball, tennis, and golf.

Group B men's sports include soccer, football (FCS), football (FBS), basketball, lacrosse, and baseball.

Group A women's sports include field hockey, cross country, skiing, rifle, indoor track & field, outdoor track & field, swimming & diving, ice hockey, fencing, bowling, gymnastics, water polo, tennis, golf, rowing, and beach volleyball.

Group B women's sports include soccer, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, and softball.

Top 10 finishers receive the following points in each sport

Group A Sports : #1 - 20, #2 - 12, #3 - 10, #4 - 8, #5 - 6, #6 - 5, #7 - 4, #8 - 3, #9 - 2, #10 - 1

Group B Sports : #1 - 60, #2 - 36, #3 - 30, #4 - 24, #5 - 18, #6 - 15, #7 - 12, #8 - 9, #9 - 6, #10 - 3

Soccer and lacrosse as higher scoring B sports? I wish there were a lower scoring A sport that accounted for 30%+ of our olympic medals...
