ETA: Nope. Solid white. Guess the red blades of turf are so tall you can't see the plate at all from the camera angle they use. That is a solid black pitcher's mound though.

It is countersunk just a bit so that you can't see it from in front. It is plainly visible from a higher camera angle, though.
That's not to excuse UH for 100% carpet, though. That shite ain't right. No dirt or grass ANYWHERE. Communists, I tell ya.
