Howland wouldn't let him transfer to an SEC school.
So Missouri is good then ?

Is this the guy that lost the ball anytime he put it on the floor?
yes, dear god he had the worst handles in cbb.
I have some friends that are close with a couple of the guys on the basketball team and they said it's all because he wants to be a 2/3 and be a primary scorer and Howland wants him playing the 4 and being a defender/rebounder for us. Apparently he has a lot of people that are in his ear saying he is being misused.
He showed toward the end of the year that when he actually tried he was a good defender and rebounder but whatever best of luck to the guy

Most overrated guy since Renardo Sidney

You aren't supposed to say his name on tRant.

Sidney actually had a ton of talent he was just a lazy pos that couldn't stay in shape and had a bad attitude.

i dont know, malik newman looked pretty overrated

Malik Newman was hurt all year... never 100%. I still think he turns out to be a good player, but he saw the writing on the wall and that is Q spoon's little bro was coming in and gonna challenge him for his spot. not sure he was worthy of the 5 star tho... 5 stars should be relegated to about 10-20 recruits that are one and done or 2 and done and it is obvious.

Good riddance.. the guy's a defensive liability and really didn't seem to put out 100% effort. He can be Mizzou's cancer now.

can confirm that Eli Wright is looking to transfer from Mississippi State.
So what's going on with Miss State's MBB program???

Love how a freshman who averaged almost 10 points and started every game suddenly sucked and Mississippi State will be better off without him
Howland is 0 for 2 in offseasons so far. I'd be surprised if Mississippi State isn't toward the bottom of the SEC again next year

I watched a bunch of games last year
Kegler wasn't bad. He was a bit of a disappointment compared to expectations, but so was everyone else on the team besides Q and Peters. Let's not forget he was a freshman. Most freshmen, especially forwards and centers, take some time to develop
The fact that another Top 50 player is transferring after his freshman season is bad news for Howland regardless of how you feel about Kegler. And Mississippi State doesn't really have a replacement for him at that 3/4 spot. He would've played a lot and been one of your best players so acting like him being gone is a good thing is silly

Program instability has always been a problem for Howland but he's not attracting the same type of talent to MSU that he did to UCLA. And the longer it takes to start winning (which won't be next year), the harder it'll be to turn it around

pretty sure it was assumed among the bulldog elite that eli wright would transfer also.

kegler was a bit of a surprise though... he wants to be a Lebron position... guard forward and center all in one.
