That was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. Not to mention that call helped us tie the game in this important series. Holy cow was that a horrible call at first.

Umpire said first baseman was drug off the base but it was a clear out.

Non-game winning plays in regular season SEC baseball games are not thread worthy.

Yessir ... and thanks OP. It was a really bad, costly call.

I'm feeling sorry for Chad Holbrook right now. The look in his face ...

Was he out? Probably. But the angles that were shown didn't show a thing that said he never slightly came off the bag. The umpire was literally in the perfect spot for the call. I just don't see how you can say it was clearly an out when you can't clearly see it.

Every SEC team, all sports, has lost a game or more due to a bad call. I'll feel as sorry bout this one as all the others felt when they "stole" a win. As an old timer, I can go back to Bear's days at bama & watched him win some games on bad calls. And he or the bama fans ever apologized. Shite happens in sports.

Yea, I don't think LSU fans will have problem at all bitching about officiating this fall.

It was a pretty bad call on the non-hit by pitch last night.

Some days you get the calls. Other days you don't. It's baseball.

I was there, his foot came off the bag but appeared to get it back on.

We got very lucky there. Ump seemed to take it out on us by shrinking the strike zone. He didn't give us any favors at that play at the plate either. At full speed the whole world thought his hand touched the plate.

So you really think that umpire just decided to make it up that he was off the bag? No replay showed an angle that would have reversed his call.
