Its a shame that BYU QB can't play another 10 years. His first 12 years were fantastic.

What is a shame is that OU is stuck in the XII and we have a 14 page (and counting) thread about how bad OU wants to be in the SEC.

I don't see ESPN moving away from the SEC any time soon. They might avoid giving the ACC its own network though.
I agree. If anything the passion of the SEC fan base will gaurentee the network makes big money regardless of the form of delivery.

They are over here to try and show everyone in the SEC that we Aggies are are horrible school and have a horrible athletic department.
The problem is that no one gives a shite.
And it is really sad because that is all they have now.
The tea sippers think they can call the SEC at any time and instruct them to kick us out of the league and add them in our place, whenever they choose to. I've actually heard this from educated, allegedly intelligent tu graduates.
OU is a football blueblood, and has a damn good athletic department for the most part. But they are north of the Red River and have no large population centers. The reality of geography really is a bitch. They are at the mercy of tu, and they hope and pray that tu takes care of them in the next round of alignment. And they have to take care of OSU also. They are in quite the quandary and they know it.

tu has had a fantastic athletic department for decades. Your problem is that you're an a-hole, reflective of your university and program. That's why no one wants you or your school around. It has nothing to do with what y'all have achieved. It has to do with your fans, because they are just like you.
When we were in the XII, I always thought that the OU fans were pretty cool. We had never been around them much before the XII formed, and didn't know what to think of them. I soon learned that it was tu that brought out the worst in everyone with their arrogance, self-righteousness, and just being condescending assholes like you.

What's a shame is that you morons emptied your bank accounts to retain a coach that delivered you your first double digit win season since Moses parted the red sea, and now you can't afford to buy him out and you're stuck with his mediocrity (which is really just Aggie's true football ceiling).

Did it not matter to OU when the Gibbs, Schnelenberger, Blake chain was broken? What if Stoops turned out to be just like Gibbs? How long would you have kept him? Five years? Seven years?
