Anything could happen now that he's at DT. Fairley turned himself into a top 15 pick with 1 dominant season.

I'm not going to get my hopes up, just saying it's possible. I won't be surprised if he takes a big step at DT tho. His skill set seems to fit the position more and he's almost up to the proper weight. He was the #1 player in the country for a reason.

He just doesn't seem to have the aggression it takes to play dline

Hard to tell if it was aggression or instincts

Looked like he played in slow motion sometimes which could be a "think too much" problem

This. I think he lost confidence in himself after coming in with so much hype and not being able to win a spot right away.

From what I heard this spring it sounds like the fresh start at a new position may have been the trigger needed to clear his head and turn the light on.

Cowart doesnt have the first step necessary to pull a Fairley imo

But Marlon Davidson said he's got that swag about him now.

The swag, brah.

I feel bad for Alex Kozan. That back injury ruined his career. From the highest graded player by NFL scouts in the National title game as a true freshmen, to not even having an UDFA contract yet.

Kozan lacks a ton of measurable that the NFL think make a world of difference.

He is definitely working on the little things and getting into the film room after practice.
