Gunterville this weekend. Got the 3/4oz spinnerbaits tied on with the 3/4oz Scrounger as well. Going to buy the Navionics card to go in my new Helix 9's G2N. Already have the Lakemaster.

I hate Guntersville.

ETA: If only I had some TJ Special spinnerbaits for this tourney......

I have heard it has been tough this year over there. Its been about 5 years since i have been there.

I actually broke down and fished a big team trail in north Georgia this year. We have fished 4 of the 5 qualifying events. Next weekend we go to Hartwell for the 5th. Top 75 get to fish the classic this October on Lanier. 3 day event then for 35K. We are actually doing well. Got 3 checks in 4 events. Hartwell should be fun next weekend. Actually looking forward to it

I miss having the time to tournament fish. I have been working about 75 hours a week since January. Been a crazy year. My son, who was helping me big time, got a good job at a company in Johns Creek and left me in February. Hurt bad. He knew how to do everything. Thats the biggest reason I have not been around here much. Now i am fishing more, trying to drop a few pounds and building all the other free time that is available. Off tomorrow and Friday from the lake so I am working in the shop 16 hours both days. Really need to get caught up so I can build a little stock. Probably wont happen though. I am gaining new stores weekly. With the Addition of Dicks Sporting Goods in north Georgia, catching up may just be a pipe dream

It's been severely overfished in recent years but you can still catch some nice fish. I'd stick to the Seibold Creek or North Sauty areas.
