I wasn't never big on Herman. Would have been cool with the hire because he is a good offensive mind, but his head coaching record wasn't super impressive with just a couple of years under him. I like the Orgeron hire much better. But I'm one of the ones that bought O deserved the job and will have great success in the SEC.

I like the Orgeron hire for LSU as long as he's surrounded by really good coordinators and experience. Long term I see his deficiencies being an issue, but a strong surrounding cast will allow O's strengths to cash in.
Herman? Wild card IMO. On paper it was a no brainer, but his career as a HC is a very small sample size.
