The majority of people who know college football knows Les does less with more and is ruinous to offenses.

The majority of people who know college football know that when the hammer comes down, it doesn't matter if baby Jesus himself is our head coach, it will take a miracle to recruit worth a damn-and even before so-as we are already realizing.

Alright thats a fair logical assessment. But imo Les would still do a better job recruiting with the position we are in.

Disagree... we could find the next James Franklin. My problem with OC's or DC's, its hit or miss when it comes to them being HC. And, I honestly don't know, just asking, not arguing, but are there any head coaches that are being very successful at a lesser school?

Who knows. Bryan Harsin?

I'm sure we'll do something mediocre like not at least making a run at Michael White so we can keep Andy Kennedy. WAOM.

I would not assume he would be gone.

The problem Ole Miss will have with getting a coach with any success, is the same problem we have with recruiting.

Poaching...we lose top 10 talent from Mississippi to rival sec schools and the last coach with success long enough to get poached end up in a pine box at Auburn.

Any long term success for Ole Miss will have to come from within the Ole Miss family.

Anyone else that comes in a looks to be a top notch coach will get poached.

Worst case scenario for the state of Mississippi... Freeze gets let go and ends up at Southern Miss and really puts a damper on the ability for state and Ole Miss to compete in the SEC.

The best team in Mississippi would end up being in Hattiesburg.

Afterall Freeze is a alum and would take that job in a heart beat. If nothing else, just to hurt both Ole Miss and state for the BS both have caused.

So if you are hoping for more than 3 or 4 years of 8 win seasons with 2 year droughts of less than 5 wins, you need to assume that CHF is kept no matter what.
