One of the most fascinating things I've seen on the SECr is watch this entire website do a complete 180 on the narrative in the days leading up to the storm.

...to acting like a god damn apocalyptic storm was coming while Mickey Mouse showed up to work as did a bunch of football programs did that weekend.

IMO, there was plenty of that to go around on both sides. Other Florida teams did play that weekend, but let's not forget that was exactly what UF was planning to do all along. Every time UF made a statement that the game was going to be played as scheduled, people freaked out and questioned UF's judgment. Newspaper articles going after Foley, it became a real mess played out in public. I think it is fair to say the narratives changed with the winds (or lack thereof).

OK... discloser... I went to Stetson for two years before going Army/Vietnam. I grew up in Gainesville FLA. That said ...

...the last time LSU fans got their panties twisted about a storm game they got a gatoraid enema. So why are so many snarling, hurt, "little corn doggies" AGAIN going after Florida? Didn't they learn not to do this the first time?

The Hatters don't seem to be particularly concerned about this... and I'll bet most corn doggies on this board couldn't even tell you where Stetson is without goggle. Is this just a case of "Who will cry for the little corn doggie?"
