Seriously though, find me a guy who is 90% from inside 40 yards and less than 20% outside of 40 yards. Then we don't even have to make decisions.
If we are on the 25 or in, kick the FG. If we are outside the 25, go for it every time. That's honestly my ideal situation if we don't have Daniel Carlson Part 2 on our roster.

I will say - the one part of Adam Griffith's game that we might miss is his near automatic touchbacks (when we didn't STUPIDLY get cute and try to pin guys deep).

You've just 'bout described Adam Griffith from last year...but nobody seemed to like him. He was 86% inside 40 and 43% outside 40...
