I responded to you. I copied it from your avi. Good work

It's ok to say one or two positive things about Mark Fox. Not everything he does is bad. We were missing our best player, and another valuable starter tonight.
I also really couldn't care less about the NIT. To me it's like making a bowl game with a losing record. I care about performance in the regular season and the NCAAs.

Yes. That last 3 fricked me on the under. Had 146.5 and the meaningless 3 made it 147. Fire his fricking arse.

The reason we lost so many close games is due to poor coaching. We get down to the last 2 minutes, and Fox tells Frazier to dribble the clock down and then go one on one. You can try to blame the Texas A&M game on the clock, but the real reason we lost is beacuse Fox could not design an inbounds play to get the ball in and up to the front court. That stuff is maddening

So what you're saying is you are on the fire Fox train.

I'm not necessarily on the fire Fox train, but I definitely wouldn't mind if we went after a new coach. I was at the A&M game this year so I've watched Fox's worst performance in person.
Just epitomized all the things we've criticized him for over the years. I trust McGarity to make a good hire less than I trust Fox to break a press though and that is saying something.

Tom Crean has been fired from IU. I'll take em'

We'd be incredibly fortunate to bring in Crean. Mainly because I actually have heard of him.
That's my basketball input for today.

Crean would do wonders here. His connections and willing to recruit AAU will be something this program isn't used to. He'll recruit the state better, bring energy, and not have to deal with the pressure he had at IU. UGA is not and will never have history of an IU.

And he kisses his sons on the mouth. So we'd have that going for us

So we want a guy who has made zero elite 8s without Dwyane Wade on his team in his 18 seasons of coaching at Marquette and Indiana (both better basketball schools than UGA), and had a worse team according to the committee in 2 out of the last 4 years, and better than us by 3 spots in 2015?
Interesting.

Did I mention he kisses his son on the mouth?

I really like the way Kevin's Keats team is playing right now. Would take a while for him to get his players for his system in here though.

last night broke ya huh? welcome aboard

Would probably rank it:
1) Steve Forbes
2) Kevin Keatts
3) Matt McCall
It's going to take *every* coach time to get "their" guys in the program, but I think I trust in Forbes ability to get the most out of the guys on the roster today, and then mold the program going forward...

Not at all; however, if we went in another direction Keats style of play would be easy to support.

Your missing the point, the style of play for KK is vastly different than MF.

Once again, you mistake an only marginally related comment for missing your point. I am well aware of KK's preferred style of play.
It doesn't change the fact that *every* coach is going to take time to get guys that fit what they want to do, or that I think Forbes would be more likely to find success with the pieces that are on campus today. If we don't make the hire until next season which seems likely, then it likely doesn't matter about style of play as Maten will then be gone, and unless someone really has an unbelievable transformation, the rest of the roster just doesn't scream "build around me" (wait and see still on the incoming freshmen including Hammonds). Also, the pool of "available" coaches will likely look a lot different.

What I will say is that Keatts' offensive style would likely be a much more exciting brand of basketball. That in and of itself needs to be considered whenever we decide to pull the trigger on a new coach, because putting asses in seats is going to be critical to get the momentum going on a new venue.
If I'm Keatts though, do I go to a program that doesn't really have the kind of guys that I would need, to endure at least a couple of difficult early years of "did we hire the right guy" and possibly hot seat talk.
