If Alabama always has NFL caliber OL's, how come none of them make it as pros?

Warmack and Fluker both released by their respective teams. The Kouandjio brothers are bouncing around practice squads, Barrett Jones is backing up someone and numerous others have fallen out the league or hanging on in practice squads. Now Cam Robinson is dropping like a rock in mock drafts.
One would think it's because they're allowed to hold with no fear of punishment, but Tide fans assured that's not the issue so what could it be?

That collectively they are better than the opposing lines they face and work better as a cohesive unit.

And Warmack just signed with the Eagles.
Fluker will sign soon.
Jones retired due to injuries.
The Kouandjio brothers are doing fine. Cyrus is starting in Buffalo.
You missed Anthony Steen. The Dolphins starting center.
James Carpenter. Recently a major contract with the Jets.

But I thought the only reason Henry was better than Leonard was because his o line was better. These shite posts are starting to contradict each other.

Alabama's development of talent and coaching exceeds that of NFL coaching. It's a testament to Bama's coaching that they got so much out of such talentless players.
It's the opposite of LSU. Players languish in mediocre coaching and subpar development at LSU, which is why guys like Odell explode once they are in the NFL. They can finally shake off the shackles of bad coaching at LSU.

They've always contradicted one another.
Alabama alums run recruiting services and over inflate Alabama signees. But Alabama and Saban only win because of talent. And then they suck again in the NFL. All busts.

In college all you need is above average guys that are experienced and play together as a cohesive unit/ do their jobs and pick up their assignments
Auburn had maybe the best OL in 2010 and only one of them even made an active roster. 1 NFL start from the whole bunch

"Leonard would have gotten 300 yards behind that line"
"That line sucks!"

Steen is starting because Pouncey is hurt.
Warmack signed with the Eagles who have some of the best interior line play, so he'll be a back up. Also, it's a one year deal meaning he's gotta prove he can hang.
Fluker will sign soon but how come the Chargers didn't re-sign him?

I'm not saying a thing about Henry or Fournette.

The 2012 Alabama offensive line is a perfect example. One of the best units in college football history. Barrett Jones is probably a college football hall of fame guy. It had two first round picks. And another 2nd and 3rd rounder. But the best pro on that line may end up being Anthony Steen. An undrafted free agent.

Because the idea that Alabama has always had an offensive line made up of future Pro Football Hall of Famers is a fantasy that began developing on the Tiger Rant 2-3 years ago.
This fantasy was perpetuated to explain away LSU's lack of success against Alabama over the last 5 years.

Because they're clearing cap space and owed him almost 9 million. He also has concussion issues.

You guys talk just as much about Bama OL being good as Bama fans do. Every year you guys think Bama offensive line is elite and so that's why you guys think Bama's RBs do well.

And he had a great year. Miami picked up his option.

You also missed Ryan Kelly. The Colts starting center. Their 2016 first rounder. Probably their only bright spot on the OL in bad 2016.

Warmack signed with Eagles
Fluker about to sign with Giants
Arie Kouandjio has done a terrific job as a back up in Washington.
Cyrus Kouandjio doing fine in Buffalo
Barrett Jones retired due to injuries
James Carpenter is doing well with the Jets
Ryan Kelly is about to wreck shite for the Colts
Anthony Steen has a great role in Miami
Andre Smith is a former all pro & had a season ending injury to start the year.
This thread wasn't well researched or thought out.
