Not a correction, because I don't know the facts, but I've read that Plumlee doesn't want to EE because he wants to play baseball. Kirby probably wanted an EE because he suspected Fields would leave. My guess is we'll try to find another QB who wants to EE, but not sure whether that affects the blueshirt for Plumlee.

I suspect this is correct, too. It makes sense. If Fields leave we would want an EE that could go through spring and get a feel for the offense, just in case. That's probably where Gabriel comes in.
