But I haven't even moved into my house yet and won't be laying sod until May. I guess I could do some really impressive prep work and still win? Maybe some pansies around the mailbox? I'm going to lose this one so bad.

I have a question on this topic. I have a small side yard on one side of the house which is mostly in the shade--we're talking about 10 yards by 25 yards. It has a moderate slope and I really want to get some grass growing on it this Spring. Do I get some dirt hauled in and then level it up to plant it? Also, I didn't want the dirt to wash away so I'm guessing I may need a retaining wall or some kind of support for the sod which would be on the downhill side? It's pretty much just rocks with very little grass right now.

You'll have to figure something out. Lawn Off is on. I've already got the theme music picked out and the hype video scripted in my head.

Litigator, thanks for enrolling.

Let's work on setting the rules now. Let's do the voting like how we did for Rib Off 1. Should we maybe add stages though like the new NASCAR format?
