In other news, our home is just outside of LaFayette Co and in the Panola Co school district.
I will have a 9th grader, 6th grader, and 1st grader.
I've read mixed reports on the Batesville schools and South Panola.
I have been told there is opportunity to get them into Oxford city or Lafayette Co schools.
For any from the area, what is the opinion on school systems for those ages? Private school is an option, but we're not super religious folks, so I don't know if it would be a good fit.
Thoughts?

If there is anyway to get them into Oxford/Lafayette Schools, I would strongly push for that. I went through SP(graduated in 2006) and I was totally unprepared for college. Took me 2 years to finally know how to take notes and study, not just cram facts before a test like I had throughout my time at SP
