Lots of good options depending on yours needs.

Just get on zillow. Spring/early summer are the sellers' seasons, buying sooner rather than later is advised. Feb/Mar is about when the late summer/early fall homes have bottomed out and are looking to unload.

We're moving for work in Oxford in June and have been looking/working with realtor the last 6 mos. We offered last week and close in May.

We wanted more house and acreage without paying for a higher price of dirt, so focused just outside of Oxford. But, lots of options inside Oxford as well. Just depends on preferences.

In other news, our home is just outside of LaFayette Co and in the Panola Co school district.

I will have a 9th grader, 6th grader, and 1st grader.

I've read mixed reports on the Batesville schools and South Panola.

I have been told there is opportunity to get them into Oxford city or Lafayette Co schools.

For any from the area, what is the opinion on school systems for those ages? Private school is an option, but we're not super religious folks, so I don't know if it would be a good fit.

Thoughts?
