As the evaluation period picks up steam with the start of high school spring practices, we see more and more offers go out as the Alabama coaching staff is able to see prospects up close in live action.

On Friday, five prospects reported offers from the Crimson Tide.

Jermaine Burton, 2020 WR, Atlanta (Ga.) Hapeville Charter --

We've seen Alabama turn to Hapeville Charter multiple times in the past with guys like four-star cornerback and eventual Georgia signee William Poole III, and three-star cornerback Chris Smith in this year's cycle. Burton already holds a handful of impressive offers including Auburn, Georgia, and Florida.

Daniel Carson, 3-star SDE, Independence (Mo.) William Christian --

Alabama stopped by Carson's high school on Wednesday and saw enough to pull the trigger on an offer Friday. A number of the nation's top programs are after the Midwest defensive lineman. Missouri currently hold the 247Sports Crystal Ball edge. Last season, Carson posted 13 sacks.

Sione Angilau Jr., 3-star OG, Salt Lake City (Utah) East --

Angilau Jr. is one of two prospects from East High to report an offer on Friday. The three-star lineman holds over a dozen offers, and has seen his stock rise in recent weeks earning bids from Wisconsin, Texas, USC, and Cal to name a few.

Sam Vakalahi, 3-star OG, Salt Lake City (Utah) East --

Angilau Jr.'s counterpart also received an offer from the Crimson Tide on Friday. Washington looks to sit in the best spot as it stands, but that hasn't stopped programs like the Tide, Oregon, Kentucky, and Wisconsin from offering this spring.

I posted his profile and film yesterday.

Tayland Humphrey, DT, Hutchinson C.C. (Kan.) --

Like Tide offensive tackle enrollee Elliot Baker, Humphrey held no offers coming out of high school in Houston, Texas. That's all changed now with over 20 programs after the 6-foot-5, 350-pounder. Arkansas and Texas A&M are split on the Crystal Ball. According to recent updates, Humphrey has no favorites.

What do you want to see? Is it big men in the trenches? How about defensive backs that can lock down top wideouts? Maybe it is the quarterbacks who can go play for any school in the country. Whatever type of player you like, the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp presented by adidas in Charlotte will have it. Here are five of the top prospects expected to perform Sunday.

KJ Henry

Henry is a premier weakside defensive end with a ton of athleticism. He has the length, explosiveness and potential to be a game plan destroyer at the next level. Henry's technique has been improving every time we see him and he keeps adding muscle to his frame. He recently named a top 10 but the schools at the forefront of his recruitment are Clemson, Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State. Look for whatever school Henry chooses to take advantage of his athleticism and versatility by standing him up and allowing him to play in space at times.

We apparently offered a 2019 DE/OLB out of Vigor yesterday. His name is Desmond Little, but he doesn't have a profile on 247 or any film besides an 12 second clip showing him chase down a QB from the backside.

He's 6'6" and supposedly ran a 100 meter dash in 11 seconds.

Is the staff taking slower pace intentionally this year? Also I hope the draft give us some recruiting juice.

One of the Oregon mods CB'd Dominick Wood-Anderson to Oregon.

On a side note, one of our mods put out a mock class two weeks ago and did not include DWA. Just FYI.
