I dunno, man. Gotta give us some juicy bits to discuss!
Seriously, though, who's next? I'd imagine Bush would be on board, since he said that he'll decide before NSD2 if it feels right.

Gonna be tough to hit 10k in the 2018 thread with so much decided already. I won't say no chance, but definitely thinking it's unlikely. Either way... this has been one hell of a recruiting class regardless of how it finishes in the final rankings. Looking forward to the next one.

Any info on Sandidge or Thompson or another DT? Also Taylor-Stuart-Any chance? Also what about Reese?

Sandidge
Dunno if AD has heard anything new, but the last I'd heard... it was close but still most likely to be USC bound.

Thompson
Pretty sure we're no longer in the running here? Haven't heard his name brought up recently at all.

Wait to see if anything positive comes out of his official, but my guess is no. Still some moving parts though... but think we take Campbell and that's that.

Reese
AD seems to think we won't get him... not sure if that's due to space, qualification risk, or something else... Still hear his name tossed around for that final ? spot if Quay were to go elsewhere, but so is Leon O'Neal... Would be one hell of a "backup plan" to Quay if we can be assured that he'll qualify.

Yes. Been reading that Quay is beginning to lean more towards Tennessee. I am really hoping for him, but only time will tell.

Probably a little too strongly worded in its implication. No one knows for certain other than Quay and maybe his closest friends/family, but would say given that Kirby convinced him to still take his OV to Athens, he's most likely somewhere in the "neutral" phase. Tennessee is basically offering guaranteed playing time... UGA not so much. Pruitt trying to use that to sell him on deciding between UT and Bama instead, knowing that he seems to be leaning away from Bama anyways. Not a bad strategy.... but we knew Pruitt was a good recruiter. AD can't share much else on Quay simply due to proximity to the situation. I know he's been pretty vocal that his preference would be for him to land in Athens, and if not there, Tuscaloosa. I'll trust him and hope for the same.

Any idea on when the big four recruiting sites will have their final prospect ratings?

Curious to see if Cook or Hill get their 5*
Posted on 1/18/18 at 9:46 am to DaWGfan01
Last year I believe 247 released theirs around Jan 17th (just ran quick google search)... The year before, Jan 20th... so we're probably getting close.

Possibly. The way it was worded is that he tends to be swayed by the latest visit he takes. That and there are three staff members at Tennessee that recruited him. Sherrer from Georgia, Pruitt from Alabama and another from FSU. (Can't remember his name)
He apparently takes a visit and gets fired up about that school and leans that way. Then takes a visit somewhere else and leans toward that school. What can you say....teenager.
If I remember correctly he takes his final visit to Auburn.
Like you said....wait and see. We will still end up with a great overall class. I feel very confident about Campbell, Davis and Bush. Walthour if he qualifies and then ? (I am getting the feeling that we are getting back into it with Reese..but if Americus thinks we definitely don't get him, then I'll take his word for it.
