Jarez Parks Accepts Grayshirt Offer from Alabama - Will Enroll Next January

Might as well just put all posts about him here.
So he did a commitment video with Bleacher Report from Paris in which he committed to Alabama:

Then he committed to Alabama on his high school field a half hour ago:

And there's an article out that said he was going to sign with Auburn:

Now, Alabama sites are saying he has not signed anything with Alabama.
So, in conclusion, this is one big fricking circus at this point.

Our board is saying he will join up with Alabama in January.
It looks kind of like a mess tbh.
And not an enjoyable one. Those reports about how he was at his "signing" kind of have to make you feel bad for any kid.

Bone and Watts say he is taking a greyshirt at Alabama. Must be the first Top 100 player to greyshirt somewhere.
Obviously had a bunch of other options, guess he was just that set on Alabama.

Why? He wasn't committed and it was apparently made clear all along that there were moving parts. He had offers from other big time schools, he wasn't forced into some sort of difficult, no win situation late.
He just decided he'd rather greyshirt at Alabama and wait to enroll in January 2018 than sign a scholarship at other P5 schools.
