You're willing to make a bunch of bets that hinge on the better team while comparing two individual players?

I said those were all examples of specific measurable bets. I didn't say pick one of those and let's do this.

one player having more tackles than another is not necessarily a measure of which player is better. it could be a product of system (similar to Texas Tech QBs and passing yards).

And they play different positions, so draft position, while closest thing to "who is better" is still not exact b/c that boils down to draft position and team needs to some extent.

Basically, I'm trying to point out that the whole "we went and got someone better" argument is purely fan driven opinion. Coach O didn't give up on recruiting Moses and he obviously would have loved to have had him in BR. Those who are objective with no dog in the hunt seem to have Moses currently ranked higher. That's their opinion. It likely doesn't matter to LSU fans b/c they want to feel a win now, and you should feel a "win" even without the constant comparison back to Bama.

not really. The Texas Tech QB had more passing yards than Hurts and Etling. Guess why? He is better at passing the ball in college. So....
