Assuming a quality hire of course. In theory, it shouldn't take as long as football. 2-3 years reasonable with the current roster?

MSU is in year 2. The next Mizzou coach if he can recruit well should be able to do the same.

Typically, I think you're right. I think KA has soooooo buried this program though that it may take even longer. This class coming in is shot so year 1 you can forget about. Year 2, legit recruits will be true freshmen. We never recruited 1 and done talent, so a new coach won't be able to bring that in given where the program now is. Year 3 is probably, realistically, the earliest I would expect .500 or better.

It's going to be awhile. This program is on life support.

What does "turn around" mean?

You need about 4-5 years to know whether a football coach is going to succeed (even if it hasn't actually happened yet). Basketball takes half as long.

After two years you should know if you've got a good or bad basketball coach.

1.5, assuming current roster...which isn't a good assumption at this point.

But Phillips and Puryear senior year, I could see NCAA tournament with a good coach.

A good coach that can recruit?

Two years.

Combination of the average talent we have now and decent talent that is recruited, it wouldn't take long.

Anderson should be fired ASAP though. We're 5-14, I mean are you fricking kidding, 5-14?!
