Why? They don't help their teams win the ultimate prize in college much since 1970. What makes you think that would change at the next level?

do super bowl MVPs next

Laura Lovecraft Never mind the 61 SB alumni, can you imagine how many sex offenders that disgusting school has sent into pro sports? Enough to be repeatedlly sued including over Manning. Tea bagging steroid using sack of garbage, that's who I want representing my alumni

or maybe it's because there weren't an influx of LSU players in the NFL until more recently than 1980. What's more surprising is why Alabama only has 6 more players than LSU?

They get drafted too high and go to bad teams.

I didn't write the article, I just brought it to the board for discussion as there's not much happening right now.
But hey, if you wanna continue a narrative because you have nothing productive or creative to bring to the board then good for you
Gosh

Just shows you how every UT football coach since 1970 has underachieved.

This has already been done. Georgia has 3, Alabama has 2, 3 others have 1 (Tennessee, Ole Miss, Texas A&M). Keep in mind this is for different players who have won 1 or more Super Bowl MVP award.
Arkansas has 2 Super Bowl-winning coaches, A&M has 1.

Why not go back SB1?
Had you looked at the article you would see that 1970 was the year of the AFL-NFL merger

Why 1970? Why not go back and include the other 5 since it started in 1965?
