What happened with Trayveon Williams?

Seemed like for the first month or two of the 2016 season he was talked about quite a bit, then he just disappeared.
- A&M's first 6 games: 82 carries for 704 yards (8.5 ypc)
- A&M's final 7 games: 74 carries for 352 yards (4.7 ypc)
Why such a dramatic drop off? Was he injured or something?

He took the same approach as Texas A&M fans.

Derrick Henry should have talked to LF.
He let little Nicky run him into the ground with almost 400 carries and still didn't sniff the 1st rd. Poor guy.
He broke the all-time SEC rushing record and the NFL yawned and drafted his Center (Ryan Kelly) ahead of him in the 1st rd. How humiliating is that?

I see... I assume he gave Bo that same advice during the Clemson game?

And Tim Willaims, Jonathan Allen and Cam Robin$on.
None of them played in the NC game. I saw them out there, but they obviously didn't "play", if you know what I mean.

we ran alot less zone read when knight got hurt. defenses were able to key on him

Ahh okay. That's understandable

His carries went down during the Alabama game, when Ford was far more effective. (Ford was battling an injury through the first six games)
Also, as mentioned earlier, when Knight got hurt you needed a runner who could actually gain yards after contact (Ford).
Also, Sumlin is a fricking moron and Mazzone tailored his gameplans to accommodate his dumbfrickery.

This is the answer. I never realized how beneficial an effective zone read game is to a RB's stat line until this year.

Seems like y'all have one of those types on defense every single year.
