Jeebus, Hurts had the best passer rating and QBR of a true freshman receiver in the history of college football outside of Terrell Pryor.
Mainly because of wide receiver screens and pop passes to a receiver in motion. He's terrible 10 + yards down field. He was a liability in games where Alabama played anyone worth a shite on defense.

I wouldn't be shocked if he lost the quarterback competition this summer to the freshman.

This 100%. Its easy to have the best passer rating when you run spread and your only throws are less than 10 yards. Little digs, slants, bubble screens, or RB screens. Its a joke.

Hurts against LSU - 10-19, 107 yards, I INT.
Hurts against Clemson - 13-13, 131 yards , 1 TD.

Staaaaaaaaahp Daves.

If Bama were smart, they would grab another QB, flip hurts to RB.

Yeah but you also said Jeremy Johnson was going to be better than Nick Marshall and the best passer Gustav has had at Auburn.
