So you're Ok with LSU having the first shot and the potential he flips and never visits Bama?

I'd prefer Bama to have the visit closer to signing day and during a weekend when we have other BIG recruits in with him, yes. I don't think he flips at all, but I also know that Saban still has the in home and I doubt the kid goes from Bama commit to not even allowing Bama to continue recruiting him and/or coming into his home. Odds of him flipping would be greater if he visited LSU the weekend before signing day, not 3 weeks.

This wasn't some plan orchestrated by Saban as Watts wants Gumps to believe. Not on less than a days notice after Orgeron kept a promise, made him his first visit and spent the whole day with him.

Maybe. Maybe not. LSU side is going to say that their sales pitch is the reason he decided to be at LSU this weekend. Bama side is going to say they asked him to visit next weekend (the biggest weekend we have left) instead. Either way, I like Bama's chances to hold on to the kid.

Also, this is one of our 3 BIG recruiting weekends. All our officials were saved until after the dead period. He's going to be surrounded by LSU commits this weekend.

And he'll be surrounded by Bama commits and early enrollees next weekend. Let's just let it all play out is my point, but you guys are welcome to keep doing this to yourselves until the end of time if you'd like.

Maybe Moses and some other EEs can work some magic on him. Good luck to the kid whatever he chooses.

It's like watching a car wreck in slow motion..but it never ends. That's all I was doing was asking when the impact happens. I will try to go a more PC route next time.

You're forgetting one thing. Let's say he flips. I mean it's actually more possible than any gump is giving credit for. He's close enough he can unofficially visit LSU one of those 3 weeks, which I think the staff will push for. So even if the staff can't stop the visit after switching commits, we can still easily get him back on campus to keep him in the fold.
