Sumlin is in trouble this year, I think.
Freeze, Malzahn and Bielema are about in the same shape; I list Malzahn because Auburn has shown to have an itchy trigger finger recently, and if they stumble around early he's gonna be under heavy duress. I think Freeze has to walk a tightrope to make it out, but Bielema seems to have to just avoid a collapse.
A darkhorse pick: Mullen at Miss State. He's floated his name out as a candidate elsewhere, and if they have a big drop off, that might bite him in the arse. State might figure that they are now safely a 7 win program without him, and go find a cheaper guy; maybe a hot young coordinator who could build the program more on the way up the ladder (ie a Ron Franklin type).

Dumbest think I have read yet. Fire Mullen to hire a young cheap OC, when Mullen's offenses have shattered all of our offensive records over the past 8 years.
There's only so far up the later you can build when you are going against the LSUs and Bamas of the SEC

We've only fired one HC with a tenure of fewer than 5 full seasons (Chizik). I think that's become pretty standard for most P5 programs nowadays.
That said, Gustav should be on this list somewhere. He'll have to win 10 or more to keep his job. Only concern for most of us is who would pick his replacement.
