SEC is only down when Georgia wins it. I did say around a month ago that it was down in 2004 but was wrong; had no idea Auburn play the ranked teams they did. But yes, UGA in 2002 and 2005 were weak SEC seasons.

SEC wasn't down in 2016. It was Alabama and 13 others beating up on each other, in my mind.

It was down, but it was still vastly better than the B1G.

So if Georgia wins the SEC, then the SEC is down by default? Right. Okay.

And you would be wrong again. The SEC was definitely down this year. ACC was a better conference. Alabama was the best. The rest of the SEC was hot garbage.

Not sure what the shot about Georgia is about. We have had some very good teams....even recently. 2012, we didn't win the SEC, but was dangerously close to winning the National Championship.
