exactly. the Monday before the day nearly the whole population would go back to work is a shitty night to have a game like that in a destination city. another 20k people go to the game if it is on Saturday and not at 7:30 at night.

This is a big part of the problem. Tough for a lot of people to get off the extra day right after the holidays for a game.
