Saban hasn't/isn't running coaches off. Hell, the Alabama game is only one (1) freaking game a year. Teams like UGA/USCe/UF only play Alabama every few years anyway.

If SEC teams only had one single loss to Alabama every year then that team would be ranked in the top 10 and in playoff contention. It's not Saban's fault that other SEC teams lose multiple games outside of Alabama.

It's not Saban/Alabama's fault that Les Miles had losses to Arkansas/OM/Wisky/AU/UF/NotreDame, or that Mark Richt had losses to USCe/UF/GaTech/UT/Mizzou or that Gus Malzan has had losses to MSU/aTm/UGA/LSU/Arky/OM/Clemson over the last few years.

Agree completely. The fact that he is the best in the game right and has been there 10 years just makes weirdos think that people are leaving BECAUSE of saban.

Hell I'm quite sure that in Richt's 15 years here there were plenty of coaches that came and went during that time, but nobody claims richt ran them off.

It's just a dumb argument to make.

Say what you will, but can you find me a single example of a major conference being dominated by one team for a significant period of time and the other power programs in that conference not substantially declining during that period of dominance? Look around the country, even going back to the '70s with Alabama and Bryant. Every single time one team dominated a conference, the overall quality of that conference declined, and pretty much all of the other power programs in the conference experienced a drop-off.

Look what happened to Michigan and Penn State when Ohio State dominated the Big Ten. Look what happened to Texas and Nebraska when Oklahoma dominated the Big XII. Look what happened to Washington and UCLA when USC dominated the Pac 12. Look what happened to Clemson when Florida State joined and dominated the ACC. Look what happened to Tennessee, Auburn and LSU in the '70s when Alabama dominated the SEC.

Find me one example in a major conference where one team became clearly dominant for a few years and the other powerhouse(s) in that conference kept on being just as good as they were before.
