I'm not going to get into the math.
However , you are just wrong about Carter. He has a scholly offer, just cannot EE.
The 85 cap is for each academic period , not just Fall. So assuming the 4 jrs were leaving for the draft and not be in school in the spring, then those spots would have been available; but now they are using their scholarships. Not all EE count back, but at the same time they all count to the 85 cap each academic period. Scholarships are not 4yr guaranteed at UGA, they are 1 yr which can be renewed.

If I'm wrong, I will admit it.
But I will ask you to prove it.
For the record, summer is an academic period. And we don't have to get under 85 until Fall classes.
I've never heard Bama refusing early enrollees because of space in January (because it doesn't matter until August). And Bama never shortchanges their 85 count.
