BOL just put out a piece today about Alabama's 2018 QB recruiting and Walters was the only uncommitted QB with an offer.

2018 QB class already sucks. Two major prospects with Alabama connections and they choose Stanford and Vanderbilt. Hard to blame them though.

We'll come out ok. At this time last year Jake Fromm was committed to Alabama and none of us had ever heard of Tua Tagovailoa.

Big get obviously for Coach Mason. 2018 has to be the year he kicks it into a higher gear on the recruiting trail (he actually has recruited well given our historic standards but SEC is a different place these days.
18 class is going to be a rare full 25 for VU with our lack of attrition. Big group for his future.

Alabama is as multiple of an offense as there is right now. Sarkisian only reinforces that.

We don't need a star qb in 2018. To be honest, if we didn't all our roster transfer, I would say we should pass on bringing one in.
Tua's brother is 2019 and In sure we will get him. Wuth that were set at qb for a while.

Exactly, evaluations are sometimes wrong and transfers happen.
