Yeah this was a big one. So, so big.

We pulled in 3 safeties today.

Nice get. He showed promise when he got minutes as a freshman at UGA. A lot of length at Safety

As bad as our secondary was this past year, he should be an impact player.

Abram started a couple games as a true Fr at UGA

Abram is a very good player. Legit as heck. Nice pickup.

Congrats to State!
Even though the numbers are somewhat misleading because of competition, Abram did start 4 games on a Jeremy Pruitt defense that was #1 in the nation against the pass.
I expect he will make an immediate impact on MSU's defense.

There's no way he could make it worse

If you play UF, don't ask him to cover Callaway

Great get. Typically jucos take a year to acclimate but both safeties have played against power 5 football and should at a minimum add good competiton and solid depth. Idk it Peters ever becomes a great corner but there is at least potential for the secondary to be good over the next couple years. LB's should be very solid and a very athletic DL. Sirmon has to prove he can coach but he does have pieces now to potentially be good on that side of the ball.

I'm not sold on Sirmon. We had enough on defense this year to not be as terrible as we were. I still don't understand the logic of hiring a coach from a conference where defense is nonexistent.

Mullen is a patient man. Sirmon would have been gone after the Arkansas game if I had been the coach.
The only drive we stopped them on was when they missed a chip shot field goal.

Nice pickup. I was interested in him for SC early on.

How much does MSU have to pay Demetric Warren for the kids he handles (like Leo Lewis, Simmons and Abram)?

More than you can afford with the NCAA making you their b*tch. Fitz is still running past the crappy defense you paid for.

You mean the guy who was involved in turning us in over Will Redmond, or the guy who pushed Whitehead to Auburn, or the guy who was trying to push Leo Lewis to LSU?
Seems like we aren't paying him enough.
