Not bad considering it's BO's first class, and the first season going so poorly.

These things are fluid and we do already have 20 commits so that is playing a factor, but still worth noting.

I'm not a huge BO fan yet. But I think he's overperforming to this point in recruiting. Especially given a rough first year on the field.

Oh, jeez.

You're not a fan of BO? Nm. Don't answer that.

I'm not even gonna open this box.

All makes more sense now.

Oh geez. You disagree with me? I'm even more convinced of every position I hold.

Barry pisses pixie dust. He's a unicorn of schematic knowledge, character, likability and respectability. I don't get how anyone could not be excited about him being here. The only thing is it should have happened a couple years later under different circumstances.

For real though. When will you like him? When his w-l record is satisfactory? A robot can do that. Use your human tools to evaluate things instead of basing everything on paper data. Spiritual data is just as real.

Namaste.

Interesting dispersion. 4 WRs, 5 OL, 3 DL, 2 DBs, 2 RBs, 1 QB.

The 5 olinemen weigh a combined 1500 lbs.

Does this count the commit from the Ore St RB?

Anything new on Miller, the LB from Memphis?

Miller is still committed. He was supposedly making a visit to Ann Arbor last weekend but it doesn't show on 247 or Rivals that he made it to town.

Same here. I still haven't gotten over Middle Tennessee State.

I am very happy about our recruiting lately. Think about how Odom did in his first recruiting cycle last year. Of course it wasn't a flashy class filled with 5 stars, but he found some diamonds in the rough such as Garrett, Mason, and Crockett. Now that we've got some commits, we need to make sure we hang on to them

BO showed that he was a rookie HC this year. To be honest, most didn't expect much.... He seemed confused at times, and was out coached most of the first 3/4 of the season..... He improved, as the season progressed.

So no A, or F..... Rather just a Meh, for a typical Rookie Season as HC.

20 recruits of 3 star and JC, is pretty close to a Pinkel type class.. Let's see where we end up on signing day.... He is attempting to address our needs.... Can't ask much more then that......... Especially with the rough two years we've had.

AM I sold on BO? Ask me at the end of next season.

I think Elarbee was the MVP of the coaching staff this year... The OL looked like a tottaly different squad and progressed as the season went on...

Also, looking forward to see what The Brick can do with our DL.

Crockett, is going to be special.

I like BO, but that first season was a disappointment. Should have been about 6-6, but couldn't hold off UGA and MTSU is a bad loss at home.

Still, some are way down on BO needlessly. He's learning, and if not for Pinkel stepping down, he could have learned how to be head coach at Memphis for a few years instead of in the SEC.

While I agree Elarbee definitely earned his paychecks, Josh Heupel deserves a shitload of credit too.

No shocker that intuition and feel is a problem across the board for some people. It's not isolated to a particular topic. Not happy with w-l total. Not happy with a certain performance. No feel for the music of it all. Polyphonic thought not possible.

What used to be a point of frustration is now pleasant confirmation that not all people can hear the music playing.

Arrogant? Perhaps. But the root of the problem often has more to do with willingness or lack of, which is often a result of conditioning -- so it's not even the persons fault, entirely.

That's right on.

Elarbee seems like he did a great job. Worked hard. Like the guy very much.

But the multitude of factors that led to Ricker failing miserably, and Elarbee succeeding should be considered. And once they are, saying he's the MVP of the staff becomes pretty silly.

Ricker had no true LT, the position that anchors the entire operation. Elarbee's LT is a flat belly monster and true LT. He's got an OC and system working much better. RB's and TE's helping more with blocking. Ect. A QB who wasn't learning on the job. And so on.
