I think Pittman, Chaney, and Smart underestimated the problem and were slow to adjust the scheme around it, but that's not an issue I'm worried about long term. They'll eventually sink or swim on their own scheme with players that fit better.

I think Pittman is going to be fine, I do believe Smart is going to have to fire Chaney at some point, but I don't see that as a negative because Georgia/Smart could pull someone better.
