Bama is in.
Ohio State is in.
Clemson and Washington are in in they win.
If one of them loses, Big 10 champ is in.
If both of them lose, Colorado will be in as well.
Michigan, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State have zero chance at making the playoff.

I thought only 4 teams could make the playoff.

I think Oklahoma has a small chance. Obviously, Sooners need Clemson to lose.

With the 7 im guessing Bama gets the bye.

So Michigan has no shot but they would have beaten 2 teams in the CFB playoff with the same amount of losses.
Nice logic

Wisconsin is in under this scenario. Penn State shouldn't be.

1 less win than the Big 10 champ. And they aren't conf champs.

Michigan will get in before Wisconsin.
Penn State might jump Michigan but not Wisconsin.
Just because Wisky lost to both Ohio State and Michigan.
Penn State only lost to Michigan os the teams ahead of them.

Wisconsin has a better resume than Penn state. Penn state lost to Pitt.

Please lay out a scenario that allows OU to pass up anyone between the Pac 12 and big 10 champs as well as osu and Bama (assuming a Clemson loss). I'd love to hear it.

Penn state lost to freaking Pittsburgh. And got beat by 5 tds to mich
Wisky lost at mich by 7 and Ohio state in overtime. They also beat lsu in non conference. Wisky metrics are considerably better than penn state. They basically got a freak win over Ohio state where they were outplayed considerably and the committee doesn't think much of it obviously.
IMO Wisconsin has only shot of passing Michigan. Penn state is a fluke. They will lose anyways Saturday so it's not much use talking about them.
Colorado will get killed tomorrow too. So not much use talking about that either

They are conference champions. Washington hasn't beat a good team ranked in the top 20.
So what we learned from this year if Washington gets in.
1) Schedule cupcakes in the non conference ..Rutgers, Portland State, Idaho
2) Hope your conference isn't elite that year
3) lose one game at home with easy to pitiful non conference games and you make the playoff

I'm just saying, no matter what happens Saturday only 7 teams have a shot and Michigan and the Oklahoma schools aren't on the list.

If Penn State wins the B1G CG, the committee would have a hard time justifying leaving them out and putting OSU in their place.

The Pac 12 is better than the Big 12. The big 12 champ also only plays 12 games. OU gets 2 byes through the season. frick them. They didn't deserve it last year and they sure as hell don't deserve it this year.

No they wouldn't. OSU lost 1 game. Penn state lost 2. It's pretty easy really.

people don't see the forest through the trees
I hate Ohio state but penn state belongs nowhere near the playoffs

The Big 10 is the best conference in College football right now, like it or not.
If the clear top 4 (Bama, Ohio State, Clemson, and Washington) lose, then we need to figure out who goes in next. Ohio State doesn't play, so they are in. Bama hasn't lost yet, so even if they lose they are in. That leaves Clemson and Washington. If either lose, then the next runner up should be the Big 10 winner. That could be Penn State.

What's weird is I would actually put Wisconsin in ahead of Michigan
I would put Michigan in ahead of penn state
I think the Badgers are good. I really don't think psu is very good at all. I'd rather put Michigan in
