Playing Miami is a lose lose scenario. If we win it's against an ACC team that we beat with Richts players. If we lose the CMR loyalists would be insufferable
Aren't there casinos in Shreveport?

We would all at least get hyped for playing Miami.
The alternative is Shreveport vs Wake Forest. I'm a diehard fan and that would be tough to tune in for.

Shreveport is a lot better than Memphis for fans.

Shreveport is actually a pretty good 3 day weekend....and the casinos have unlimited odds at the craps table....Also some pretty good DIY duck hunting in the area if you are bent that way....

You realize that would go both ways, right? If we win it is because Kirby took an inferior roster and beat Richt, therefore Kirby is the better coach. If we lose, it would be because Kirby had a freshman QB and horrible OL, while Richt had a seasoned QB and big WR's.
This place would implode. I'm with you. I'd rather neither happened.

The downside of losing to Miami would be way worse than the upside of winning. I would refuse to play Miami if I were Georgia, even though I realize that's a beta move.
