I like O. Why did so many hate him?

He certainly didn't step into the best situation. But seemed like he did pretty well, all things considering.

he went 5-2, beating no one we shouldn't have beaten

Miles would still have been canned for 5-2

it's fricking horseshite

He is not a HC. We've just hired someone who failed at ole miss. Accept the mediocrity.

I guess you'll be ok doing pretty well every year at 8-4 or maybe 9-3 huh?

We don't hate O. We hate the idea of him as head coach. We hate that we fired Miles without a real
plan. We hate that he was a failure in his only head coaching job and just got the reigns to take over a top 5 program (or so we thought).

It's not hate. It's the feeling of settling for less, when you fire a coach in the beginning of the season to give time to ad to find new coach

How was a fully loaded team an extra bye week and the easy part of the schedule not a good situation?

After going through last year you figured the administration would have their shite together on the HC search.

Dude, we fired a guy who was stale but won a national championship and played for another, panicked, and hired a career d-line coach.

This is beyond horseshite.

I like O, a lot.
But him being head coach means we most likely lose Aranda, and we *might possibly* get Kiffin.

Tigerdroppings is full of fickle, entitled children that were anti-Herman about 4-6 weeks ago. Go figure.

O wouldn't have been my top pick, but I'm going to give him a shot, support him, and hope he can be successful as HC.
