ETA: I do not consider myself a dem and I think everyone in the Epstein files should be punished in the most offensive of ways.
I’d recommend volunteering at a local food bank or soup kitchen.
I do agree American poverty on a global scale is much better off than being impoverished in many other nations. Shoot, having access to clean drinking water alone has Americans in poverty in a better position than others. But to act like American poverty equates to systemic abuse of funds when we have legitimate issues of food insecurity for kids is frustrating.
