With his performance Saturday he's already established himself as the best true FR RB in school history.

With 108 yards vs Arky Friday he would move into the top 5 for all time rushing yards in a season. 251 yards would make his the third highest total in school history.

Worth noting, he didn't receive more than 12 carries in a game until week 7.

Arkansas has an absolutely brutal rush D (as bad or worse than ours if you can imagine) and he should be running like his arse was on fire against them.

VERY impressive year for the kid.

If the defense is in any way improved next year and with the offense gaining a year of experience, I can see us getting to 6 wins. Maybe not likely, but the offense is much improved despite being pretty bad against good defenses.

Crockett is a beast and I haven't been this optimistic about a single player in a long time.

I'm ready for a reset button on our defense.

Crockett, Mason, Johnson, Hall, and Blanton are going to make a solid skill group.

If he doesn't hit 108 against us then either Heupel had a major brain fart and decided to throw on every down or he picked up an injury (which I hope doesn't happen).

I'm glad to see Crockett doing so well up there and I wish we had him, but right now we are loaded to the gills with RB talent. We have good players at that position who aren't even getting a sniff at the field.

I still give the edge to Arkansas because I think Austin Allen is a better QB then Lock at this point but I would be very surprised if Missouri does not put up a ton of yards and points on this turdtastic Arkansas defense.

Something that will get you excited. Lock is on pace to finish 2nd all time in passing yards for mizzou, and Crockett to Finnish 2nd in rushing yards. I'd find it hard to believe that mizzou isnt successful at least one with those two together.

He should easily pick up a hundred against us. Beat us and get into a bowl game and he probably has a decent shot at that mark.

Crockett got busted for marijuana possession this weekend. He may not be playing in this game.

why don't these stupid kids realize you can't be sitting on a parking lot on campus smoking weed.....MUPD loves this publicity.

The funny thing is that marijuana has been mostly decriminalized in Columbia. Do that in any parking lot in the city, that's not part of campus and nothing happens.
But MUPD are State employees, so they are all in on arresting students for marijuana.

The cops in CoMO (MUPD or plain Columbia ones) LOVE to bust athletes. And coaches.

We are so not SEC when it comes to this.

That'll do it. Hopefully he learns from this mistake.

Damn. Just one kick in the nuts after another. I was expecting this too. Anytime MU gets a good player, they always get in trouble off of the field and they never come back the same. Maty (yes I know he was garbage before, too), DGB, TBJ (either won't come back the same or will be injured into retirement), Walter Brady, and now this.

I'm not assassinating Crockett's character at all btw. He had offers from Army and Navy, so he has to have some sort of dignity and character. He's 18 years old and has only been in college for 2.5 months. He just broke Brad Smith's record hours ago and wants to celebrate. Was it a boneheaded move? Yes. But I'd rather have a guy smoking pot than beating women. Right now, he just deserves a warning and a slap on the wrist. Let's just hope this doesn't become a reoccurring issue

The only bright spot? bullshite

When was the last Mizzou athlete that got busted for pot only 1 time with no repeats or didn't get the boot for other disciplinary reasons?
