With Manziel. We wasted a VY/Cam/Tebow type talent and never sniffed the MNC.

Maybe I'm just drunk and melting... But GDit how does a school with our resources and $ not do better.

Hopefully Woodward is making back-channel talks with Les Miles.

Would do it in a heartbeat. We can get Miles to change his offense philosophy.

SOB is a winner.

Joe Aleva tried to force a change to Miles' offensive philosophy. You know how that went????

You know what happened the last time we forced a head coach to change his offensive philosophy?

We ended up firing him anyway.

Exactly. Which is why hiring Les is the stupidest idea ever.

You're a frick tard. CLM is a winner.

Don't care what CLM inherited. Sumlin couldn't build a defense like that in 15 yrs at a&m.

Easy on the Smirnoff Ice. No reason to talk to other Ags like that

Right. He has as many wins against Alabama as Sumlin does since 2013. Yet you want to hire him? Not sure you know who the actual fricktard in this thread is.

When did I say he would you "fricktard"??? I'm not defending Sumlin. I'm just pointing out that there are no good candidates out there that could realistically make us a dominant SEC team. And out of all of realistic candidates we could hire, Les is the worst.

But if you want to believe Les Miles is the guy, then bless your heart.

15 seasons and all he has to show for is 2 conference titles? If you're trying to make an argument for Les, you're failing at it.

9 seasons and Sumlin has ZERO conference titles, including 4 seasons in Conference USA and a season where he went 12-0 in the regular season.

Miles is 2-1 in Conference Title games. Sumlin is 0-2.

So 2-1 in 15 years is your standard?!

Slocum was 1-1
Sumlin is 0-2, losing both times in CUSA, including getting blown out during his 12-0 season

I've said it since the end of the 2013 season: We will look back on that year and say we should have known then Sumlin wouldn't make it here.

Losing 4 games with Johnny Manziel, arguably the greatest individual offensive playmaker ever at the college level, is as great an underachievement as there has ever been. Don't give a single frick about depth, defense, etc. Give a good coach Manziel and Kentucky's roster and he should go 10-2.
