I hope it's a nice day and I look forward to spending time with South Carolina fans!

BOOM has SC on the right track - trending upward. Very impressive victory against Tennessee!

If I meet any of y'all, I'd like to shotgun a beer with ya. See you in a few days!

You'll have a great time tailgating...Gamecock fans are friendly and always willing to share friendly game banter, delicious food and plentiful alcohol with fans of every team not called the taters.

And Willy B is known for the atmosphere...and Sandstorming, of course. Just be prepared to hear A LOT of the rooster crow during the game. The guy in charge of that definitely overdoes it on that and it annoys even the majority of Gamecock fans.

Try to check out Sir Big Spur if you get a chance. If you're facing the student section, he's on the right hand side down on the field. Chillest Gamecock you will ever see in your life. As mean and ornery as they are known for being, even the roar of 80,000+ fans cheering at the absolute top of their lungs doesn't ruffle his feathers in the least.

Have a great time but obviously, I hope we beat y'all. Doesn't have to be an arse cutting...a single point'll do. We just need that W to keep our bowl hopes alive and kicking!

The reference for your post was one of the single best Melts I've ever seen from anyone (it was even better that it was a clemson fan.)

Here are my honest first impressions of SEC fans of teams we visited during "away games": South Carolina

First...it was hot as frick in Columbia, SC. Not the good hot either. People were sweaty and more than a few smelled bad.

Back on topic. South Carolina fans really didn't desire pre-game interactions with Mizzou fans. They sort of kept to themselves and ignored Mizzou fans. We got the impression they viewed Mizzou as a sure win, and unfortunately for Mizzou fans they stomped us in 2012 so you can't really blame them. The unwelcoming cold shoulder attitude most Mizzou fans experienced outside Williams-Brice was nowhere near as bad as the outright disdain, rude, and obnoxious behavior Mizzou fans experienced inside the stadium.

SC fans yelled obscenities at Mizzou fans throughout the entire game. People were screaming about how Mizzou did not belong. We witnessed drinks thrown at Mizzou fans. And this all happened in a game SC dominated! There was zero reason for their behavior.

SC was easily the most rude, obnoxious, self entitled fan base we've ever encountered...which makes what Mizzou accomplished in 2013 and 2014 incredibly satisfying. Side note: FWIW, I like the SC fans who post here.

The Cockaboose was a cool thing to see. They could do so much more with the Cockaboose, like make it an actual attraction which occasionally circles the stadium. SC women were mostly trashy.

Of course a few here and there were cute, but most had foul mouths and acted as trashy as possible. I cannot count how many times SC white girls spoke in a ghetto accent. Nothing is less attractive than someone speaking in a fake ghetto girl accent. Plus, they smoked a LOT. Ghetto chainsmoking white girls. BARF! We did not expect this. SC is in the south and we were led to believe all southern women are sundress wearing belles. WRONG.

forgive and forget, bruh!

Fwiw, cock fans were insufferable that year. My first impression was absolutely spot on. Most of the people on this board even acknowledged it.

Don't let me rustle you this much. Have fun, brotha! Relax!

don't know what that is. My brother and I will be in an RV.

I was hoping Scrooster would at least let us see the inside of his cockaboose. Just a glimpse inside. I was hoping to deliver something cool like that for my little brother. Sort of an older brother thing.

Let me know what the rigging is and we may venture by there.

It's in between the Waffle House and Bernies chicken on Bluff road. Right next to the national guard complex

Don't worry, the Sonic is about a mile to a mile and a half on the other side of the stadium. We all know that's where real baws go to throw hands.

I started to add to my earlier post not to act like a yankee and ppl would be nice to him.

Act like a yankee, though...and he's gonna be in for a looooooong game.

And fwiw, they were kinda right about Mizzou not belonging.

Juuuuust kidding, Killz. But not really.

Surprised y'all haven't realized by now Mizzou and Mizzou fans never had any intentions of belonging. We just wanted out of the Big 12. We wanted that big SEC check. We got it.

We actually prefer to be constant underdogs. Mizzou performs best when no one believes they'll be successful.

We're yankee. We'll never be nor do we want to be "southern". We are friendly folks, but make no mistake: WE LOVE OUR MIDWESTERN YANKEE ROOTS!
