This one is likely going to get nullified by us either playing down to a lesser opponent or holding starters out.

A&M scores 38.4 ppg (31.4 vs. SEC) and allows 19.8 ppg (24.4 vs. SEC)

MSU scores 30.4 ppg (24.8 vs. SEC) and allows 30.0 ppg (28.8 vs. SEC)

vs. all opponents:

A&M scores 11.4 more than opponents' averages
A&M allows 10.3 less than opponents average
MSU scores 6.5 more than opponents' averages
MSU allows 1.9 MORE than opponents average

vs. SEC opponents:

A&M scores 8.9 more than opponents' averages
A&M allows 6.8 less than opponents average
MSU scores 4.0 more than opponents' averages
MSU allows 0.8 MORE than opponents average

The four models read:

A&M 41, Miss. State 20
A&M 38, Miss. State 18
A&M 40, Miss. State 26
A&M 32, Miss. State 29

All but one of the models have A&M winning by 2 scores. 2 of the models have A&M winning by 3 scores.

I can comfortably predict that A&M wins by 10-14 points.

We are definitely going to rest Myles Garrett and Armani

If not outright rest them, I can see them in for a minimum number of snaps.

They'll probably dress but only play if it's close in the 3rd or something

MSU is decent at stopping the run and runs the ball fairly well. Their weaknesses are their pass defense and passing game. Essentially they are a slightly more talented version of South Carolina.

What I'm saying is they don't do anything that jumps out at you as you'd expect from a team with their record however what little they do well presents a matchup issue. We can't exploit their pass defense and they can run on us.

These are both lies.

I've more or less lost faith in Trevor Knight, he appears to have regressed as a passer since the Arkansas game where he was pretty good in the second half. MSU can
leave receiver saw open as they want, he'll consistently miss them.

As for the run game, we struggle against the zone read and MSU is in the top 30 in YPA. They'll break a few long runs.

We'll win, but it might be very ugly.
